Daniela Mercury Brazilian singer will be the godmother of the Rio Carnival in Argentina, in the province of San Luis. She will offer two ninety-minute shows on both nights in the imported brazilian festival, which will be held for the third time in the Corsódromo located in Potrero de los Funes.
The largest carnival parade in the world is arising out of the Marquis de Sapucai for the third time and will be again in the Argentinean provincie of San Luis on the March 9th and 10th in the International Circuit Potrero de los Funes that will become the largest sambadrome in Argentina.
Rio de Janeiro Carnival reached Argentina with the queens from the 2011 and 2012, along with members of the best Samba Schools: Mangueira, Salgueiro, Portela, Imperatriz, Beija Flor, among others, making a total of 3000 “pasistas” (dancers) to delight with their costumes, music and rhythms of Rio.
This mega event will last approximately 5 hours. You will be able then to enjoy a spectacular parade of Rio festival. The 2011 Carnival called 50,000 people during the two days, reaching people across the country and foreigners.
This year was enlarged and the Sambadrome infrastructure extended from 750 m to 1000 m, giving a space for 30,000 people per day, plus a VIP tent, booth selling products, tastings, food court, etc..
